Exiting Public Accounting? CPA Sr. Accountant for REIT

Perform monthly/quarterly close function for a portfolio of approximately 4-5 premier boutique hotels. You will be the primary point of contact with the Hotel controllers in an oversight role including reviewing hotel financial statements and related account reconciliations, recording into the general ledger, fixed asset account balances, recording depreciation and fixed expenses (tax and insurance), and variance analysis. In addition, you will prepare various schedules incorporated with the Company's SEC report filings, and help proof the 10-Q, 10-K, proxy statements and earnings press releases as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Accredited accounting degree.
-Strong understanding of GAAP.
-Big 5 or large regional public accounting and/or CPA preferred
-Excellent analytical and research skills.
-Prior financial statement preparation experience.
-Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
-Detail oriented with strong documentation skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
