TMG's HR Training & Development Team provides numerous trainings on-line via our Leaming Management System (LMS), videos, lunch-n-learns, workshops, conferences, out-sourced training, mentoring, and other forums effective programs which enhance our Employees' results and skills. We are now seeking an HR Training Coordinator (HR-TC) to support and grow with our HR T&D Team at our offices in Leesburg, Virgina with periodic travel to other TMG offices in the DC area.

TMG's Human Resources Training Coordinator role is to maintain and administer our growing LMS while we deliver educational services to TMG employees (and other stakeholders) that enhance our best-in-class construction services. Reporting to the HR Director and Lead/ Senior Talent & Development Specialist, the ideal Candidate for this HRTC role will be mentored to become a T&D Specialist who also creates and delivers effective company-focused training.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently maintains & updates the Learning Management System (LMS) and Talent Development calendar and schedules
  • Creates effective training resources such as instructional guides, demonstration videos and other training resources to support construction, project management, financial and other relevant knowledge
  • Interviews subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify required information to develop or revise TMG training and performs technical writing with the support of SMEs
  • Proofreads & edits documents written by others such as manuals, policies and procedures and training content; Edits for understanding, readability, grammar, consistency and appeal
  • Coordinates & tracks Training requirements, Webinars & cohort meetings, Employee Professional Credentials, CEUs, renewals, stipend/ tuition programs ensuring that manuals are up to date
  • Learns to create new compelling training resources, enhance current trainings and develop personal presentation/ training skills consistent with TMG's commitments
  • Proactively supports the planning, logistics and preparation for Annual TMG Conferences including Superintendents, Annual Program Managers, and Executive Leadership meetings
  • Actively assists with the editing, publication/ uploading and dissemination of new training videos and other training collateral before its release

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of Associate (A.S) Degree or Certification(s) in Human Resources, Training & Development or similar

Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in coordination/ administration of Employee Training & Development

  • Logistics Experience: Is an integral contributor to planning, logistics, and materials for training events such as Annual Meetings, Group Training Sessions, etc.
  • Proven track record of handling sensitive, confidential HR information appropriately
  • Above average communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to collaborate well with Teams
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and/ OR other software used in creating and presenting educational videos is highly preferred. Proven ability to learn creative software is required.
