What You Can Expect
As our Asset Operations, Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing field response for reactive and planned maintenance activities of select operating standalone battery assets in Central Texas. You will also serve as a key company representative for maintenance scheduling and coordination with internal teams as well as 3rd parties. This field-based position will require frequent travel, primarily to two facilities in Central Texas. As such, the candidate must reside within two hours of Austin, TX area facilities.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will ensure the smooth operation of our battery storage plants, overseeing coordination with OEM technicians and both internal and external maintenance partners. You'll be hands-on in troubleshooting technical issues onsite, detecting and addressing deviations in plant operations. Communication will be key, as you'll liaise with internal departments such as Performance Management, Asset Management, and Remote Operations teams to promptly report any issues or requirements, facilitating resolution by coordinating with internal teams, OEMs, and EMS providers. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in supporting reliability improvement plans by collaborating with in-house and third-party technical engineering staff.

Salary Range: $32.00 - 48.00 USD hourly
