Responsibilities
    Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise.
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, Joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
  • Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs.
  • Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country.
  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and the other senior leadership as well.
  • Connects pieces of information that is available from different sources like field agents and form reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security to deal with potential threats.
  • Assesses the believability of the information from the reliable sources, collects it and validates intelligence.
  • May provide team leadership to other Analysts.
  • Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to working as an integral part of a dynamic team conducting critical intelligence collection operations with advanced collection systems.
  • This ops team received one of the Intelligence Community's highest awards and was recognized as Team of the Year by Leidos Research Intelligence databases, assemble and analyze information in support of mission planning activities; monitor traffic and other real-time Intelligence reporting, analyze changes to imminent threat situations, and craft/disseminate tailored critical and time-sensitive information to support ongoing operations
  • Participate in a selective multi-discipline crew executing a sensitive collection program supporting national strategic objectives.
  • Monitor multiple channels of classified and open-source information to identify and assess ISR mission threats.
  • Prioritize strategic and real-time emergent threats and facilitate flow of critical information to mission director and tactical mission partners; perform airborne asset mission planning and airspace de-confliction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or Associate's and additional experience) and 8 years of experience supporting Intelligence operations, with at least 5 of those years working as a SIGINT Analyst
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in communications intelligence (COMINT)
  • Must Possess and Maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Proficient with standard SIGINT reporting tools and databases, and fundamental knowledge of employing geospatial tools such as FalconView, ArcGIS, or GALE in support of collection operations
  • Experience with fusing diverse Intelligence reporting into a consolidated product
  • Experience reporting threat and/or time-critical intelligence
  • Supported operations in either PACOM and/or CENTCOM AOR
  • Effective communication and briefing skills for routine presentations
  • Ability to sort, compile, and analyze information from across multiple reporting domains, as well as produce/present decision advantage intelligence to senior government officials
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of ISR and air operations tasking and prioritization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with air operations cell.
