Job Description

About the job:

The Brand Representative will support the Baltimore, MD area. They will work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. They will also generate interest in Holistic Brands by staging events and answering questions about product.

  • Thoroughly understand our company and products

  • Develop positive relationships with customers and distributors

  • Act as the point of contact for customers, and handle customers' individual needs

  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions

  • Track customers' preferences

  • Autonomy to schedule customer meetings and events/activations based on the market sales strategy

  • Provide feedback to the Marketing and Sales departments regarding customers' requests

  • Raise awareness of the Liberty, Strane, Garcia Hand Picked, Hellavated, Cannaceutica, and Do Drops brands using company marketing tools and industry events

  • Help attract new customers and brand awareness via Pop Ups / Vendor Days

  • Participate in various events with our Sales team in promoting products to generate sales opportunities

  • Visual Merchandising in stores

  • Must have a fun and positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction

  • Adhere to company and state regulations.

  • Non-traditional work schedule including evening and weekend work

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Physical Requirements of the Job: Long periods of sitting. Long periods of screen use. Moderate to loud exposure to noise level and artificial light. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds, may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Extensive travel required.

About You:

General

  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in business or marketing preferred

  • Proven work experience as a brand support team member

  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

  • Cannabis experience preferred

Technological Skills

  • Proficient in CSR software

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Must be passionate about the cannabis industry and Liberty, Strane and Garcia products

  • High-level attention to detail

  • Self-driven and organized

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a shifting workload in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of medical marijuana laws, MED regulations, and DPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in licensed facilities

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately

  • Ability to initiate and follow through on work independently

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic

  • Eager to learn and enthusiastic

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

  • Extensive state-wide travel is required
