Job Description

Provides marketing technology support in a direct role to meet the needs of a project. Could include website creation and design, UX/UI design, integrating website with marketing campaign, CRM tool implementation and management, digital coding/development (After Effects, HTML5, Jiira, etc.), testing, QA, backend and frontend support.

  • Develops customer journey mapping to understand customer behaviors by identifying potential challenges and road blocks and defining details of functionalities across interactions with the system and interactions with the customers.
  • Generates ideas and design thinking to solve problems through connecting potential challenges and road blocks with existing insights and research analysis (interviews, surveys, etc.) to optimize UX solutions and define an actionable problem statement that focuses on deliverable's goal.
  • Creates documentation, style guides, pattern libraries, and specifications that establish the vision for the product and can be used to guide decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for producing and translating appropriate deliverables such as requirements, personas, sketches, sitemaps, workflows, wireframes, rapid prototypes, mock-ups, interactive videos, training materials, training videos, visual graphics, PowerPoint presentations, visual diagrams, etc.
  • Designs GUI applications with effective visual elements and good usability to achieve compelling user experiences.
  • Follows the iterative Lean UX Cycle process adapting in Agile environment to carry out standard steps to evaluate, design, implement, test and modify.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Working toward NN/g UX Certificate or similar certification a plus.
  • 2-5 years overall related experience in UI/UX design, UX strategy, and usability research and testing.
  • Ability to maintain a government clearance or investigation.
  • Position requires current TS/SCI with FS polygraph

Other Job Specific Skills

  • Proficiency with user-experience research methodologies and tactics.
  • Familiar with industry trends in web design.
  • Demonstrated experience with site mapping, wireframing, communication design, human factors analysis, information architecture, interaction design, copyrighting, and prototyping tools.
  • Skilled at translating creative ideas into strategic solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of the overarching process of website development.
  • Understanding of web content strategy as it relates to the entire project lifestyle.
  • Understanding of information architecture as applied to web and application design.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in an agile, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, client service, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create user-centered designs that are practical as well as aesthetically pleasing.
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS & JavaScript, Data Visualization tools and charts/graphs libraries a plus.
  • Proficiency in wireframes & prototype tools Axure, Balsamiq, Adobe Experience, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in video editing tool Camtasia a plus. Additional tools including Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills.
