Job Description

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for Administrative Specialist supporting our client with grant review panel process for over numerous federal projects.

Duties:

  • Meeting preparation, agenda preparation, meeting pre-planning activities and coordination and review on grant documents and submittals.
  • Participate in consensus meetings by taking and compiling meeting notes, regarding discussions of grant applicant project strength and weaknesses, developing summaries based on those notes, and drafting meeting email correspondence and updating related documents.
  • Drafting technical documents at conclusion of grant meetings including meeting notes, compiling, and summarizing strengths and weaknesses of all reviewed applications

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented (e.g., correspondence support, ideally experience with committee/board meetings)
  • Familiarity with the energy sector considered a plus, but not necessary.
  • Notetaker in Board Meetings, Executive Meetings, etc. with the ability to distill down important and impactful details

NOTE: Remote, Full-time (40 hours per week) from mid-May through the end of July/possibly into early August.


Required Experience & Skills

  • Detail-oriented (e.g., correspondence support, ideally experience with committee/board meetings)
  • Expert level notetaker in Board Meetings, Executive Meetings, etc. with the ability to distill down important and impactful details

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Familiarity with the energy sector considered a plus, but not necessary

Required Education

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Education

  • Ideally higher education in technical writing/editing
