Job Description

The Building People are seeking a qualified Project Manager (Nuvolo) to support a growing portfolio of federal government, local government, non-profit, and commercial customers - all while operating remotely.

  • The Project Manager (Nuvolo) will provide direct consulting services in assisting with the implementation of functional solutions.
  • Serve as the management representative for the overall management and completion of assigned tasks for the project.
  • Build a rapport with customer stakeholders and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Responsible for strategic and operational planning and execution of the software development lifecycle for application development, design, testing and implementation of the Nuvolo product including training.
  • Perform risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks, and communicating and escalating risks and issue.
  • Lead full life-cycle project and program management duties.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and works with Business Owners to successfully manage changes in project scope, schedule, budget, and personnel.
  • Manage completion of all project deliverables according to the project plan and milestones.
  • Responsible for quality documentation and delivery following best practices, including scope definition and management, project plan creation and maintenance, proactive risk management, issue escalation, stakeholder management, vendor management, budget management, communication, and status reporting.
  • Manage all documentation and deliverables associated with the project, and providing written communication for the overall engagement, including but not limited to, meeting minutes, project updates, Statements of Work, change orders, and presentations.
  • Support, coordinate, and communicate with the team during various efforts such as internal testing, UAT, and training
  • Manage effective and efficient meetings with customer and internal teams.
  • Manage project execution, escalating issues, resolving conflicts, removing barriers, and answering questions.

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience with Nuvolo.
  • Other Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) experience a bonus, such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, ServiceNow WSD, Maximo, FMSystems.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently.
  • Use of tools such as Confluence and JIRA a plus.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree

  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov't security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
  • Ability to operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
  • 2+ years successfully working from home or a remote location, with minimal supervision. Environment must provide adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
