About Us
One Medical is a primary care solution challenging the industry status quo by making quality care more affordable, accessible and enjoyable. But this isn't your average doctor's office. We're on a mission to transform healthcare, which means improving the experience for everyone involved - from patients and providers to employers and health networks. Our seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses and mental health concerns have been delighting people for the past fifteen years.
In February 2023 we marked a milestone when One Medical joined Amazon. Together, we look to deliver exceptional health care to more consumers, employers, care team members, and health networks to achieve better health outcomes. As we continue to grow and seek to impact more lives, we're building a diverse, driven and empathetic team, while working hard to cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive.
The Opportunity
As One Medical continues to expand our ability to provide innovative and human-centered primary care for all, the teams supporting that growth are expanding as well. Reporting to the Managing Counsel, this role will round out a dynamic and growing legal team, serving as subject matter expert for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various strategic agreements and complex transactions with health systems and health plans. This role will provide regulatory guidance on various healthcare-related issues with a focus on Anti-kickback Statute (and related state statutes), Stark Law, Civil Monetary Penalties Law, and develop compliant solutions to to facilitate and promote One Medical's business objectives, including value-based care, care coordination, and health system affiliations. The role will serve as a highly visible leader within the organization, working across verticals, developing trusting relationships, adeptly guiding and advising key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a natural leader, instilling trust through sound decision making and actions that reflect your ideas. Persuasive, you collaborate easily in order to drive groups toward a common goal. You are hands-on, deeply engaged in your work, and able to effectively manage multiple projects and "ruthlessly" prioritize. Driven by the desire to take on new challenges and learn new skills, you are always willing to share your knowledge with others. If you are skilled in distilling complicated problems and driving practical solutions from ideation to implementation, demonstrate grace under pressure and are inspired by the idea of scaling your work to support a growing and innovative national primary care practice, we would love to hear from you!
