Job Description
The Class A Driver will be responsible for the transportation of hazardous wastes from a facility to a Clean Harbors site. Drivers will also perform duties associated with projects like industrial tank cleaning, utility work, facility shutdown, emergency response, site remediation and rail car cleaning. 
 


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste (i.e., compatibility’s of liquid to tank, etc.); Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment.
  • Maintain daily logs, worksheets timecard, expense reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Adhere to assigned milk run schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Communicate regularly with Coordinators regarding daily time and demurrage.
  • Maintain and clean assigned Company equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times
  • Will work outside year round in all types of weather
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Class A CDL
  • Hazmat + Tanker endorsements
  • Ability to be on-call every other week for Emergency Response Cleanups
  • Ability to operate variety of trucks ( Vacuum Trucks, Air Movers, Roll-Offs)
